My five-year old cousin from the countryside visited Mumbai for the first time. He had never seen high-rise buildings and box-like apartments before.
While he hankered to catch sight of an actor or celebrity somewhere, and loved the sea, he was not impressed by homes.
‘What’ll you do, if there are more guests? Where are the spare rooms?”
“Well, we ask our guests to carry their rooms. The balcony wall is foldable, and can stretch out to accommodate the extra room…”
“I’ll never come back here. Dad asked us to travel light.”
He lives in California today 🙂

I like what you did with this prompt. Very creative!

Great story. I =imagined the house bouncing and pinging out to some new form altogether.

That sounds better than the story 🤗

I love this. Trying to imagine how these highrises would look with the attached rooms, like some weird giant mushrooms growing out of the eath, LOL.

If only we could have folding homes and carry them in a suitcase. I like the light fun side of this story.

Some new travel trailers have expandables on them. Maybe it could be adapted to apartment living! Fun story.

It should help combat rising prices of real estate.

Everyone needs a foldable room. Somebody should develop one.

Imagine accommodating guests – building rooms on thin air 🙂
Pretty grateful for a home.
