“Flipkart sent me 2-ply rolls, when I had specifically ordered Origami 3-ply rolls. And the label on packaging says it is non-returnable.”
Back in the Flipkart office,
“Why this padlock here?”
“Employees replace the rolls. I’ve received complaints on the chatbot, though we did not bother to reply…”
“And which ones are these – 2-ply or 3-ply?” He has never sounded more exasperated than this. “Is it a discipline issue or customer service? Get the damned padlock outta here first.”

I agree. The trouble with padlocks is the time spent looking for the lost key.

It could have been worse. They could have just taken the rolls and not replaced them with anything. Such an interesting roll with the story 🙂

Funny. But 3-ply? Really? Never have seen that in any store I shop in.

Look online for Origami 3-ply. Amazon should have it 🙂

Great story. I think that falls squarely in the service realm.

The things people will complain about, or steal!!

I try not to be judgemental about stealing in a country, where eradication of poverty is a challenge. But it gets ridiculous, when the construction material for a new highway disappears overnight from the roadside. C’mon, infrastructure development is for everyone.
