The bell rang at the unearthly hour of 1.30 am, but there was no one outside. It happened three more times, and the call bell got burnt after a prolonged Qrrr… sound.
She was paralysed with fear when the phone rang, but her sister had picked it up.
“Dad passed away after a massive myocardial infarction. His friend says he wanted to be sent home rather than the hospital.
She marvelled at the ways souls can connect, as she wiped her sister’s tears.

I can relate to this, Reena. At the moment my mother-in-law passed away, I was in bed, almost asleep. I heard her speak. ‘Is this it?’ Then the phone rang.

An eerie, sad Six. I don’t believe when a person dies they are simply extinguished like a lit candle. Our life force, our energy travels somewhere and when it does… bells can ring 🙂
