“Right and wrong are such subjective terms. Stop your crusade, and get real…”
The venom in my own child’s voice is shocking, but I gather myself again.
“…. your religion and morality buddies won’t be around when you need them.”
Nor are you, I silently think, but explicitly say, “It is not about buddies or a crusade. I believe in a very simple truth – it is the fear of resistance that has created concepts of right and wrong.”
It’s Six Sentence Story Thursday Link Up!

Well done, Reena, especially that last sentence!

That is the state of teaching today, everything is subjective, speak your truth…………and children ALWAYS know what’s best. A provocative story, Reena.

Barring the necessary usefulness of fear (as we grow up, made aware of the practical dangers etc.) fear is one of the, if not the most, destructive and contagious “forces”.
Great Six, Reena.
