unplugging barbs
undoing impact
of all that hurt,
longed for
untainted light
kept the mind awake
on long, dark nights
uncurling the noose
of serpentine power
learning to breathe between
polluted patches
and pure showers
releasing toxins
accumulated
for ages
in soul libraries
on unread pages
Solitude
-a jagged brain
lollygags
soul smiles
with a kindred spirit
-me and myself

Yes, “soul libraries” sounds collective to me. And then the souls become a resource, too, as is a library. I hope you don’t mind I like the change you made.
