The first coffee

It is one of those days, when the world feels upside down. The housemaid failed to turn up. There was an issue with the Uber app, so I had to find alternative means of transport. The file I had worked on last night was not saved, calling for rework.

Things were settling down by 11 am. The cup of coffee placed on my desk by the pantry boy led to an epiphany. I had missed the first coffee in the morning, because I had to fill up for the maid. It gave me withdrawal symptoms, and my reaction to the incidents was troublesome, not the episodes themselves.

  6. You have maids etc?? How cool that must be. Loved your reference to ‘googlies’ as I am watching IPL replays today. Thanks for your thoughts on a morning coffee, no matter how late in the morning it might arrive.
