Buying patterns are carefully scrutinized to design the future marketing strategy. Only that artificial intelligence is not as brazen as this, and the air around shops is not sprayed with disease-producing viruses.

Looks like they are inventing some unheard-of, new disease to boost sales…..

  1. Some doctors are great, I have known quite a few over the decades. Unfortunately these days drug companies in particular seem less scrupulous. A compelling piece of writing.

  2. Unfortunately, the medical profession isn’t what it used to be or we didn’t know what we know now. I only go to a doctor, when necessary, and if I have any doubts, I get a second opinion. The medical field is more about big business and not about caregiving.

    1. I guess it’s already happening in some parts. Health parameters have been modified to make people consume medicines – as in diabetes. Chemotherapy is being attacked as a fraud pulled on cancer patients. Recently, I escaped undergoing an unnecessary surgery, by taking a second opinion.
