The Wizard’s Defeat

 
 
 Banished from the world
 not the magic in his head
 he plots strategies
 to rule the sky and the stars.
 A full moon smiles above….
  
 Busy as Moon is
 tricks well concealed, protected
 in its roundness
 sleeves and hats are not his game
 he rolls over the night….
  
 The wizard’s sharpness
 angular wisdom exposed
 in grey clarity
 Magic needs a perspective-
 gets defeated by wholeness
  
 sublime wisdom
 rotating, revolving orbs
 hide world’s secrets
 churn to present new stories
 a hungry world laps it up….
