I extricated my vision from deep snow
to see vulture clouds hovering above

When did I look at the baby smile
to see vulture clouds hovering above 
dissipate with a sigh in the last mile

bringing sunny days back, and clouds

the puppy licks my feet, coos aloud

  8. i love the ruminations in this Reena, clouds and snow, puppies and babies, beginnings and endings all filled with hopes dashed and regained. though you chose not to rhyme in the traditional way the pantoum does not lose its effect, of winding and circling the theme.
