She kept driving into the wilderness – aimless and directionless. The calendar year was something she wanted to leave behind, and erase all memories.
The unusual flowers forced a stopover. Some looked like smiling faces of kids, and others like monsters waiting to pounce from the woods. Once again, she felt stuck between the past and future. She pulled out the appointment letter from her bag. Did she really want to live within the confines of a boarding school, enforcing discipline on others, and feeling claustrophobic at the same time?
Absentmindedly, she tried to brush off the flower which fell on her shoulder – and the flower smiled back at her.
Her choice was made. It will be a new way of life – of letting the kids be, and help them blossom into the best they could be.

I really like your take on the prompt, Reena. As Susan pointed out, nature can teach us very valuable lessons if we would only pay attention.
