Today’s prompt: Why do you think we feel so bad when we lose someone? Can you truly “lose” someone?
I don’t think we are disconnected. It is just that the nature of connection has changed. We do not vibrate to the same frequency of thought any more. Repulsion happens only in the same field.
I have neither gained nor lost a friend, just added another perspective to a jaded scenario. Yes, differences do bring in a kind of freshness. We discover our freedom to look in other directions.
What if we meet again? Will it be an encounter, or just looking at each other in a different way?
forest fires burn
weeds along with cherished trees
facilitate new growth

Fire purifies dead bodies, nothing is left except memories. So we are connected with memories only. When we understand that death is a necessity for new growth, we accept, no matter how much, we grieve.
