Sam does not understand the concepts of dressing. The shoes are sexy, but need a matching handbag for a well-coordinated look. And then, that dash of red in the lip color and neckpiece will complete the look.
I did not realize how long the very enjoyable ordeal was. I swear I did not hear any sound resembling the ambulance horn. As I step out, the chauffeur informs that Sam fell off the tower accidentally, and has been taken to hospital.
But what was he doing up there? He should have told me he is taking time off for an adventure.

I feel for him, I get frustrated in these situations too. I guess it’s a gap the different sexes will never close

And what an adventure that was. Shoes , colour co-ordinate of clothes, lipstick and waiting for decisions -waiting for the final outcome, most men would jump too.

I have enjoyed the male point of view on this piece 🙂

Intriguing. I think Sam is a child who wandered off while the mother was otherwise preoccupied. Or it could be her partner who decided to climb a tower while she was doing her makeup 🙂

How and why do disconnects arise? 🙂

Like Iain, I thought the dash of red was signalling a tragedy. Well written.

Thanks! Interpretations are best left to the reader. I see a variance in the original intent and interpretations at times, but does it really matter?

On the other side, what happens to the work of obscure artists? End in the junkyard? My blogging site may just be deleted at a point. 😅

Sorry. The reply was not meant for this piece. I hope he ends up in the hospital, rather than the graveyard.

Thanks 😊 It was meant to be a light-hearted piece about a woman’s obsession with shopping.

The subsequent accident (?) makes the ‘dash of red’ needed to complete the look seem somewhat sinister.
