Ironically, the line comes from a prime accused in a #MeTooIndia case. He gives many stories from the book “The Twelve Caesars” by Gaius Suetonius Tranquillus. The only line that resonates with me today, is that Caesar’s wife needs to be above board, but not Caesar himself.
When corruption by power becomes the norm rather than an exception, there is very little left that is precious in life. The fragility of fairies needs to be emphasized in fairy tales. If there are no magic wands to conquer evil, willpower is all that remains.
