There is value in sharing. Your tanka’s opening question touches on one of the knots that keep us from sharing…a feeling of fully owned entitlement rather than something that originates from the contributions of many… including some who are not thanked or recognized.
Too many want things all for themselves or just a selected few.
Yet there are those who do give freely, without a second thought.
And it is those people who can be called living treasures.

It is a challenge faced by all those whose livelihoods depend on US economy and politics.

Solutions seem to be few and far between. Mixing politics and moral responsibility often creates some sticky paradoxes.
