look for
a spirit
behind the
glamor and beauty,
edited highlights
of ladies who lunch, and pose
to oblige camera lenses
ever smiling with gleaming eyes
I may just find a sister somewhere
seeking companions for the soul
who sees life just as I do
has been thru’ the same grind
in metaphoric ways
I connect with her
at some levels
similar
at the
core
