I wonder why have I been invited to this derelict building.
The instructions are clear.
Enter the building through an entrance with an uneven shape. Take the staircase leading to the terrace, and wait.
I follow instructions and reach the terrace. The sight almost makes me faint, but I am a hardened soldier expected to be tough.
There lay the bodies of the three soldiers who were abducted last week. Their release was awaited by the entire country. Unseen, unstoppable tears choke me.
Blast terrorism! I vow not to rest or retire till I have wiped out this militant outfit.

Dreadful – and I bet those countries have already paid a ransom.

I cannot imagine what that must have been like. At least it’s made him more determined to fight on.

And so the cycle of violence continues, with reprisals followed by more acts of terror.

A gruesome find – and as always with terrorism – what exactly do they think this will achieve? Good story Reena, something a bit different from you, I liked it.
