Few cases of implied fraud were raked up, and action followed. ‘Zero Tolerance’ was the new buzzword. ‘What is Integrity?’ became the new icebreaker game in conferences.
It could hardly have been a bloodier beginning. A new management team had taken over. Time would tell that their actions were murkier and unprecedented in the company.
