Sainthood

He heard confessions from people, and his blood boiled to see the depths human behavior had touched.

Neither did he have miraculous healing powers, nor the strength to change the course of events.

He could sense his spiritual teachings falling on deaf ears, every day.

Sainthood felt like paralytic burden, when he needed to move and act – in the most appropriate manner possible.

He decided to return the honor, and revert to being an ordinary mortal.
