Borderline

“There is no reason to return home.”

“You are depressed. Find a therapist after you land.”

“No. I don’t want to live …..”

“You are on the borderline. Something could still lift you up there.”

SPLASH! He had jumped in the water. Then, the same figure was signalling for a lifeboat to be thrown his way.

How crazy could one get? I stopped in my tracks, as I saw the pretty face waiting on the shore. Should I throw the lifeboat to him?

His inspiration for life was there. Once upon a time, she had been my reason to live.
