Voluptuousness of imagination
gives robustness
to thought
and paints pictures
with words
hitherto unnecessary.
I see colors
coming alive
on the canvas
which were not
in my wardrobe
or makeup palettes
My hands give shape
to discarded junk
and shape them
into objects with a value
and a meaning
I did not know before
I ask the colors, words and objects
where did you live before
and why did I never meet you?
They look stupefied
and overawed with their own existence
beyond the surrealism of my imagination.

A very good poem, Reena.
