I met a writer who had hired a woman as a muse. The expression that attracted him to her was
“You know my limits. I have no limits.”
He would give her situations, and ask for her response or strategy, if she had been there. I am sure it gave him tremendous insights, and openings into new worlds, which helped him write.
I asked myself, what would I do, if I was in that writer’s place. He wants to know what she had done or what she would do. I would also like to know
- what is it that she regrets not doing?
- what will she refrain from doing and why?
- what is it that other people would have liked her to refrain from doing, and why?
That would give me openings into several other worlds, which complete the picture.

I have a muse who, without her knowing it, gives me inspiration. I’d rather no known he thoughts as they may spoil the Muse thing
