The gentle rays of dawn
light up the world
nudging and moving
the wheel of life.
The darkness behind the rock
wistfully imagines transparency
wanting to partake in the feast
on the other side of existence.
Light — so near, and yet so far
opacity blocks vision and thought
Heavy — the hand of Ignorance
It keeps people basking in the rot.
Military power belongs to the past
Dictatorship now, just needs a haze.
Knowledge and prosperity idly wait
unable to attract the human gaze.
All it takes is a twist of thought
An epiphany, a realization
The rocks go tumbling in a flash
when insight meets imagination.

Thankyou, Reena, beautifully put… a small shift in perception changes everything.
