Reena’s Exploration Challenge #109

Welcome to Week 109! My thoughts go back to a stark neighbourhood – identical yellow buildings with numbers painted on them. I enter 109, the building where my uncle lives. It is a rainy day, trains are stuck on water-logged tracks, college is closed and I have walked on the tracks to reach there. My … Continue reading Reena’s Exploration Challenge #109

Reena’s Exploration Challenge #108

Welcome to a poetic week! Poetry touches the soul, and has the power to impact thoughts and lives. Only a writer can appreciate the craft of making poetry whatever it is – be it a game of rhyme, syllables, structure, choice of words or a free flow of thoughts. I don’t want an epitaph

“I don’t want an epitaph on my grave.” “Why?” “All my life, I’ve felt misunderstood or not understood by family and friends. I prefer being unremembered rather than being mis-remembered.” “Do you feel your life has been wasted?” My coach instincts are sharpened. There is something in here, which will give a clue to other … Continue reading I don’t want an epitaph
