What is it?

What is it? by Aishwarya

kittysverses's avatarKitty's Verses

Not once, twice,

But! But! infinite times,

Discreetly,

It nudges

Although intuition is,

Shoved in a closet.

Deja-vu,

Brushing off again,

Only left,

With regret,

Warped and wrinkled, hood lifted,

Procrastination.

I have been here before

I’ve lived these moments in the past

It’s like time is playing on a loop

It shows me the scenes I’ve seen before

Is it a premonition or a glitch

A warning sign to be cautious

Or an omen that something is about to happen

I have been here before and I know

I need to carry on regardless of how I feel

Though my mind puzzles and analyzes

This is one mystery I am unable to solve

Chuck Palahniuk

“There’s an opposite to déjà vu. They call it jamais vu. It’s when you meet the same people or visit places, again and again, but each time is the first. Everybody is always a stranger. Nothing is ever familiar.”
― Chuck Palahniuk, Choke

Enlightenment #writephoto

“Those who reached there have never come back.” “Are you referring to those stones?” “I always wonder what they hold. Are they the intellectuals and knowledge-seekers who disappeared from the world? Do the stones represent disappointment on ignorance and arrogance in the world - a world they once cherished as their own? Does it become … Continue reading Enlightenment #writephoto

Cracking the code

“Optimism fails, when happenings of a few weeks set the world back by a decade.” “We will not let fear rule the world – that needs to change more than the economy or health issues.” He did not seem to hear me, and continued, “The biggest question before us today is how to measure progress, … Continue reading Cracking the code
