with thousands of wings

to fly above the clouds

to discover new lands

to never sit still in one place

by not to take a flight

when I see others in a plight

and that’s enoughto enlighten my heart

and fill my dayswith

light and delight

I know that when I am lost I’ll find my way

You’re the shining light that I look for

In troubled waters that rock my boat

When storms threaten to drown my existence

You’re the anchor that steadies the ship

My heart swells with joy when I think of you

And the love and support you’ve given me

the dismally dark path

that light he’s always waited

a ghoulish thought he felt frustrated

a toy boat on the floor of the footpath

a trick or treat that’s belated

scarlet dusk gave him a fright that’s fated

on this damp evening like a bath

a ring of hope he’s created

as the moon illuminated

that drearily darkened path

a sigh of relief and he’s elated

now his fear he vacated

and nothing could be scathe

in his soul hope he located
