Musings

Putting the alphabets together in several different combinations, do not lend the right words to become building blocks of stories. She realizes that repetition of some alphabets is necessary to make sense. One needs to allow them to collaborate, to become meaningful enough to express your thoughts. Did we invent language, or only the alphabet? … Continue reading Musings

Scamster

“Of course, we’ll be too happy to help you, Ma’m”, stuttered the customer service representative, “just complete the details in the form, and the amount will be credited to your account.” He couldn’t believe a celebrity was taking a small loan from them. The scammer moved ahead confidently with her purported identity. A small effort … Continue reading Scamster

Creating order

Creating order …..by Sadje

Sadje's avatarKeep it alive

Arranging the blocks and alphabets frantically
She wants to create order out of disorder
Harmony is important to her, perhaps too much
Her mind rebels at the suggestion of disarray
When her own life lays in shambles, broken
And she cannot arrange it into a neat pattern
She appeases her inner turmoil by creating
Order in the external environment around her

Artificial Intelligence

The eternal secret reveals itself in the fourth decade of her life - keywords not chosen carefully. Subconscious re-imprinting is a full-fledged course in NLP, but who knows when it gets imprinted. Can there be a program to design a child before it comes into the world? It would save so much trouble later. If … Continue reading Artificial Intelligence

The Power of 10

I choose to write in both the syllabic poetry forms specified by Laura Bloomsbury in MTB - Numbering Ten THE DECUAIN when you meet awesomeness, acknowledge it I wonder why some people criticize life opens windows to learn, don't miss it if you can master something, why surmise for all I know, it's envy in … Continue reading The Power of 10

Visit Me

Visit me ….. by MIchelle Navajas

Visit Me

i dream of you
in the early mornings of the days
when sunshine isn’t warm
and clouds isn’t dim
you’re playfully amazing
as i knew you would be
in your vague cute little face.

a vision of your smile
is all that i ever have
in my make believe nursery room
i would have built and designed
should you have
victoriously made it
out in this world
on your ninth month.

rest now my little angel
but visit me soon
anytime you want
and maybe then
you could stay longer
let me remember
the vagueness of your face
this time; clearer and distinct
visit me in the stillness of the night.

Writing System

Writing system …by Jim Adams.

Bet you didn’t know half of this 🙂

newepicauthor's avatarA Unique Title For Me

Class today we will be learning about the alphabet.  Can anyone tell me how many letters are in the alphabet?  Bobby raised his hand and Miss Walker said, “Yes Bobby” and Bobby said, “There are 26 letters are in the Klingon alphabet.”  The whole class broke out laughing, which is exactly what Bobby wanted.  Miss Walker said, “That is very good Bobby, but I was referring to our English alphabet, which was based on the Latin alphabet, and it also consists of 26 letters, each having an upper- and a lower-case form.  Our alphabet originated from Old English, which came before the Modern English language, and it was spoken between the 5th and 12th centuries.  English was first written in the Anglo-Saxon futhorc runic alphabet, also known as Anglo-Saxon.  The Angles and Saxons came from Germany and settled in Britain in the fifth century.  The region they inhabited became known as ‘Angle-land’, or England.”

The Domino

The Domino …by Diana Coombes

In reality, glass dominoes never work. When one goes down the rest will fall and shatter. That’s why they were kept on a high shelf, away from her two little girls. Although, when their cat walked past them, one fell forward and the rest followed.
