Mute Spectator

I thought
Time is the pilot
To lead me in journey of my life
It would teach me the skills
To forget the pain
To face the storms
To keep balance in all difficult situations
But in the end
I found
Time is
Just a mute spectator
Of your arrival
Your journey
And your departure
It neither stops you
Nor forces you
You learn by yourself
The art of living
 It does not fly by
It just stands still
Allowing you
To be the pilot of your life
Learn to keep the balance
To sail through storms
Learn by own mistakes
Be responsible for your decisions
And bear
The consequences

Speak to us, threaten….

I grew up in an era when television screens received inputs from metal antennae planted on terraces. Watching the sun entangled between bars saddened the child in me. I was taught at home not to catch butterflies and cause them pain, but dissecting a frog in the lab was forgivable. Dear Nature, your silence has … Continue reading Speak to us, threaten….
