strap in
to watch a
video of
fast-paced images,
extraordinary
demonstration of motion.
It makes me think this is such a
unique format to view. It is a
delightfully disorienting dance.

This is my fictional contribution to the above prompt..

It’s a noisy world. So much information screaming at me …..it fries my brain. Should I press the mute button? Retreat and dialogue with my inner self for a saner discourse. Except there is no discourse just confusion, boredom and lack of ideas. My thoughts refuse to percolate unless sparked by a superior being. I’m just a follower and I need a strong leader to show me the way forward.

I found him about twenty years ago. I was watching his biography on CNN. He was so certain in his speech. He knew what he wanted and went for it. Sure there was some scandal. But there’s always people trying to drag the strong…

unless we choose this to be our fate

They have no power to make us follow their way

unless we choose to buy into their gameplay

Although it is popular to follow the majority

we can choose to follow a Higher Authority

You see, to follow the majority is so easy to do

because it’s easier than having others think we’re a fool

Spew hate and pollute the minds

If you want someone out of the race

All you need to do is to play their emotions

To pick someone to do your dirty job for you

Don’t even lift a finger and just point your words

It’s for nothing that they say that

Politics is a dangerous game

More for the other side than it’s for you
