How many times you’ve said these words?

We lack the confidence we should have in ourselves

And then when things go south we blame our own selves

If we look pragmatically, we will realize

That we are not the center of the universe

All of us play an equal role in this tableau of life

People go around judging things in this world where it seems like everything is competing for our attention and if something is seen as being arousing, this would warrant further attention and deeper evaluation.  The word “gun” may have negative connotations for some people, but it might have positive connotations for others.   Names are abstract self-representations, but you are not supposed to say the words “bomb” or “terrorist” when you are flying on a plane, as this could upset others and cause panic, which might result in you being removed from a flight, or even placed on the no-fly list.

Joe Flynn played the part of Captain Wallace B. Binghamton aka “Old Leadbottom” (due to a bullet wound in his rear end) on the popular television show McHale’s Navy, which was known for being more historically accurate than its contemporary series, F Troop.  Lieutenant Commander Quinton McHale would always cause trouble…

is seen from your bubble
happens to you
revolves around you
impacts/changes/affects you every time

mere existence
means shitty people 
weather anomalies
tragedies and bad things
will occur      TO YOU

why ask anxiously
is it always me?
of course it is
because that's how life works
for everyone

Darkness engulfs under her hood,

A part of myself,

Snatching away from me,

My alter ego in good and bad,

Was she really mine,

Or was I hoodwinked by light?

My shadow, mum to my misguided illusions.

Let it be a theme for the week’s writings. It may not necessarily be about privacy, but the various illusions we live under, and which actually make life bearable. Knowing too much would debilitate our sense of individualism, independence, achievement, or glory. It is actually a happy bubble we live in.

Never be same again

Illusions busted

myths are broken

That mankind is superior to all creatures

a tiny virus crushed us all 

drawing me into

an illusion of real life
