If I had one more heart

I would readily give it to you

And to you, you and

perhaps to you too!

But you see, the one I had, is already taken

Yet everyday, I keep falling in love

unplanned and spontaneously

my senses so easily enraptured

I fall in love with your sunrise

I fall in love with my dusk

I fall in love with traditional cooking

When the heady aromas envelop

I romance aromatic baking

For it brings a smile on my kids’ faces

Makes my home smell heavenly

And store bought cookies replaces

I fall in love with the angelic tangle of arms and legs

now asleep without a care

Whose sibling rivalry and revelry fill my home and heart

As well as my life and soul

I fall in love with your words, your turn of phrase

An iconoclast to the core

The lone one

with eyes

in the land of blinds
He believed 

he can change the system with his

vision

honesty

empathy,

A fool

he forgot

the jungle rule

that,

in the land of blinds

the lone one with the eyes

has 

either to become blind

or

mingle with them

hiding the fact

that

he has

vision

Life is much more than the work we do, and our careers. We are human. We are entrepreneurs. We are people. Take care of You first, and there will be much more of you to go around. Physical, emotional, mental, spiritual its all You!

Iconoclasm is a breaking of established rules or destruction of accepted beliefs.  The Grateful Dead probably broke a lot of rules and they have been called the world’s most iconic improvisational band by some and that is because in essence they played free form music which allowed them to jam.  It’s often said that no two Grateful Dead shows were ever the same, although many shoes were similar, they never used the same setlist.  They played over 37,000 songs live in some 2,300 concerts over their 30-year career.  Just by mentioning their name, people will think of psychedelic tie-dyed clothes, dancing bears, and rose-garlanded skeletons.  Their music is understood by individuals that refer to themselves as Deadheads with a particular type of mind.  The idea of the Grateful Dead was to bring the freedom of creative movement and fluidity as an artform within the context of a rock band that involved audience participation and many…

when he approached
as if to signal

to which he was party

at those stories
