Heartbreak’s Ordeal

let me go crazy as hell
no one could come and tell
i spit fire then i could yell
damn, i’ll burn you down i swear.

i played along with my spell
heartbreak made me wild as hell
like Maleficent’s ordeal
damn, i’ll crush you hard beware.

i, being in charge of hell
victory is mine i could smell
i will welcome you to hell
damn, i’ll hurt you that’s for sure.

Frozen in time

Frozen in time …. by Aishwarya

kittysverses's avatarKitty's Verses

P.C :- The Sunday Muse hosted by Carrie

frozen in time, the leaves dry out,
layer upon layer , they rot,
gossamer memory webs out,
frozen in time, the leaves dry out,
domes of despair, they dance about,
charge of devilish hell that’s fraught,
frozen in time, the leaves dry out,
layer upon layer , they rot.

Poetry form ( Triolet :- “A triolet is an eight-line poem. All the lines are in iambic tetrameter (for a total of eight syllables per line), and the first, fourth, and seventh lines are identical, as are the second and final lines. This means that the poem begins and ends with the same couplet. There is a tight rhyme scheme — ABaAabAB.)

Disclaimer :- I don’t know if I got iambic tetrameter correct though, any online tools to help me learn, would be helpful .

Notes :- If we hold on to unpleasant…

Hell’s Incharge

Hell’s incharge ….. by Aboli Mane

Aboli Mane's avatarA Writer In The Room

They handed me the iron sceptre
told me I am in charge of Hell
they said no better chance exists
to make the Punishments dwell.

When I held the rod of justice
Judgement rested a heavy crown
Duty died within my throat
every tragedy made me frown.

The burden of a countless souls
required deep advisement
words faltered as I pronounced
the horrid Ledgers of chastisement.

I put away the iron sceptre
plugged my ears to tune out the screams
Hell erupted in chaos and violence
there was no bigger Sinner than me.

Curse this wretched heart within
for Compassion became my death knell
unhand me the iron sceptre
telling me I am in charge of Hell.

Is this what hell looks like? ….. by Sadje

From Reena it’s a theme prompt this week.

Being in charge of hell….

➰➰➰

It was her first day at her job

She felt that this was unbearable

Discipline was just a dream

Floating in the subconsciousness

Her voice was a mere croak

As she had talked non-stop since morning

When thirty kids were all complaining

Fighting and bickering among themselves

Their yelling was deafening, ear-piercing

She never imagined being a kindergarten teacher

Was like being in charge of a mini hell

Hell couldn’t be worse than this classroom

Maybe it will get better with time?

PROMPT #274

It is a theme prompt this week.

Being in charge of hell…

being in charge of hell, I twirl
my crimson robe in blood I swirl
shadows dark that haunted my nights
I rule these beasts I used to fight

being in charge of hell, I scheme
whispers now replace the screams
darkness that engulfed my dreams
I command it now as their queen

being in charge of hell, I sneer
demons delighted in my fear
drained the drops of my sanity
now bow their heads, kneel before me

being in charge of hell, I sigh
evil mocked my anguished cry
dragged my soul through memories
I feed them shards of my agony

being in charge of hell, I smile
it’s not a place I’d like to dwell
luckily, nightmares end with dawn
I open my eyes and laugh…

Internal Inferno Redirection to eternal flame

Internal Inferno Redirection to Internal Flame ….by Amanda

Damien de Soto's avatarHerder of Swine

I already am, in charge of a burning inferno, right now, it has been word vomited all over the internet, but I am done throwing up now, realizing I was never really sick at all, just had a sort of food poisoning given to myself by myself because I was addicted to poisoning my own mind, and meditating on all matters not divine, but I am done now. I am walking away, so no one is in charge of my hell, and yes I own it, because it was internal not external.

The fires of Hell, a place, are really the fires that burn in my own soul, on fire from a fire started by me, lighting everything that causes me to feel fear on fire, but it has been revealed to me, by my friends recently, that I can just simply leave Hell or hell, which…

Mama Told Me Not to Come

Mama told me not to come ….by Jim Adams

newepicauthor's avatarA Unique Title For Me

Satan found solace in a place where he could be the supreme ruler, so he said that it is better to reign in Hell than serve in Heaven.  If you believe in God, then you have to believe in the devil, as that is the way Christianity, Islam and Judaism religions teach us.  Let’s just assume that my good friend Fandango is wrong and that there is a God, then we can wonder what it would be like being in charge of hell.  I guess that there would be a lot of fun people down in hell and that most of the boring ones would be up in heaven, but then there would also be a lot of pedophiles there too and I don’t want to be around them.  If a really bad person like a serial killer repents and lets Jesus into their heart, they will be forgiven and…
