Stop the Words
Don't miss this poem. "stop the words' by VJ Knutson
Dominic bowed his head to hide his face. He forgot that he did not need to do so, after the plastic surgery which has changed his appearance. It was an instinctive response on seeing the person who trusted him, but was backstabbed. He wondered if she had recognised him. But his body language was enough … Continue reading First Line Friday
It was a client who gave the counsellor the right perspective. “The problem is we cannot have part of a person. We need to accept the whole, though certain parts are so exasperating.” Parineeta thought about her husband who mirrored her father’s value system, and had attracted to him for that reason. He valued family, … Continue reading Paradox
Random words in front of other random words create a random sentence ….. by Lady Lee

Random words before random words
Create a random sentence cord
No agenda nor deadlines, try
Own voyage of discovery
Depends on my delivery
If it’s not good enough, I sigh
Look up the sky, something will fall
Whatever happens it’s my call
I’m my own author and speaker
I have fallen down once or twice
And it’s like throwing of the dice
Don’t know what’s next, I’m so eager
I’m a seeker of something lost
If I am crossed you’d be weeper*

Moving on .....by Eugenia

Visit to the Shrink …. by thedarknetizen
I come from a tribe of head-hunters, so I will never need a shrink.
It’s a paradox, but I believed it to be the truth. That was until the voices in my head began speaking. Just one in the beginning. But soon, nineteen others joined in. I demurred visiting a shrink even when their constant chattering and bickering began drowning out my own thoughts. On some lonely nights I would feel my entire conscious self shoved to the bottom of my mind, the voices taking over completely. For the very first time I felt that I was no longer in control of my own body. I booked an appointment with the shrink at once.
The shrink heard me out patiently, even heard out some of the statements made by the other voices. She asked me to write down the names of the voices, if I knew them. I knew all…

ENJOY!!
Overthinking was what he did best. His thought process was on so many levels that he gave himself a phobia of heights. Like a high-rise elevator, his mind would pause on every floor. And every time the doors opened, he would come up with a new idea.
Eventually, it would all get jumbled; random words in front of other random words, creating random sentences. By the end of the ride, nothing made sense.
Today, he was going on a first date with a beautiful girl he met online…
