go for it
follow your instincts
put your pedal to the metal
full steam ahead

no one tells you as you do
that struggling is a part of the journey
it’s hard work
chasing your dreams

i hope you remember
to be playful and filled with joy
as you hit all those milestones
the markers of your success

Have you heard about the story of a group of blind men visiting an elephant to find out what it was like?? ‘The blind men and an elephant’ is one of my favourites, and I often share it with my students to introduce them to the concept of perception. On one occasion, while sharing it in a lecture, I found myself in a difficult situation. That story I would like to keep for later blogging!!!

The Parable, “the blind men and an elephant”, is known to have originated from the Buddhist era in Indian folk stories. Different versions and interpretations of the same story are available, but I stick with my story; that is how four visually challenged men went to see (hypothetically) an elephant.

The story goes like this:

This notification from WordPress infused a sense of warmth in me, two day ago. I’ve been disciplined enough to post something every single day in the last one year. PROMPT #178

I let myself became one with all forgetting that you have to keep yourself at a distance in order to keep an eye on them so they don’t misbehave.

My fault.

Now they are fighting with each other like hell. I need to watch them from a distance to find the real cause of their destructive behavior, to find the real culprits and punish them.

Hope you all understand and don’t…

Click on the image to write more stories “Homeless in the outer world, lives inside her mind” - the tagline to her social media profile intrigues, and she is no novice in the world after having spent a couple of decades here. The Shift

They hugged each other and cried, though it had been only two hours since they last met. They were strong individuals, but tormented by the agony of being lost in an alien place. They could not speak or read the local language. Phone calls did not go through for reasons unknown. It took ages rewinding … Continue reading The Shift

Scene 1 “I hear the Branch Manager of JNPT branch is in a relationship with one of his colleagues. He is married ….” The boss is digressing from the topic of discussion. “Should we really bother about personal lives of employees? He is an excellent performer.” I suppress a smirk as plenty of unsavoury stories … Continue reading 360 degrees feedback

Soul

I found a poem by Nikita Gill in a Google Search Here's my 'flipped' take on it. Soul immortal, imperceptible evergreening, enriching, rolling gathering impressions, shedding bodies damaged by injuries grieving, dodging rocks https://dversepoets.com/2021/04/06/dverse-poetics-flipping-meanings/
