I see you hanging between planets entry not granted by any entity to your dark soul propelled by curses blocked by positive forces Karma paybacks on a roll dark depths of my angst provoked by monstrosities battles of control go away know not what to say I see you somewhere there struggling to justify you … Continue reading Resurgence

Wind in your palms

journeying into path unknown,

i see a reflection,

two sides stop to meet,

here but not quite,

familiar but on palely unfamiliar groove,

try imprisoning wind in your palms,

it joyfully escapes beyond,

you breathe, it stops awhile,

journeys take different turns, destinations encircle.

Away, astray

Away, astray …. a wonderful response to dVerse Quadrille by Bjorn Brudberg

Björn Rudberg (brudberg)'s avatarBjörn Rudbergs writings

Stray me darling
dye me purple, dare
to swerve me
slowly from the grooves
of being common.

I vow to giggle
madly with the moon
to talk to trees at dusk
to follow you
away, away — astray
from the rooted furrows of
our norms.

Corporates do have a business to run, and products or services to sell. But the most important lessons about power emanate from corporate corridors. My self or not

My self or not …. by Punam

paeansunplugged's avatarpaeansunpluggedblog

I believed I knew myself
every line mapped, every vein marked
the bumps and the dips, all accounted for
burnished and buffed for the world to see
then you came into my life
the “I” you showed me
is so different
I look into the mirror again
and trace the contours of my face
trying to find what you see in me
your fingertips, as they trail over my soul,
reveal facets unknown
your lingering gaze
unravelling all my resolves
your words peep into my future
showing me a different vista
the person I see in the mirror now is not me,
it hurts that I’ve lived with this stranger for so long
as I stare at mylikeness dispassionately
I see dark corners deftly disguised
the luminosity is also just reflected glory
I now notice a shoddily tied bundle of fake positivity
the inklings of chaos cleverly concealed
everything…

Forgotten pen

I finally got around to cleaning the house, after a couple of lazy weekends. Contents of drawers spilt out. As I was changing the newspaper lining the drawers, a voice stopped me. Eerily, the paper spoke. “Check the date. You know a team worked so hard to get this out by dawn.” “In pre-pandemic times? … Continue reading Forgotten pen
