thoughts left aside words deliverable yet unspoken become all that which is unknowable connection remaining unattainable when understanding remains hazy in my purview
I think of unknowable as being beyond the limits of human understanding. Humans are curious creatures, and this curiosity drives us to search for explanations. We feel that if we are able to understand things, that these explanations will give us some control over our lives. Sometimes we invent things, so we can comprehend what is going on. Take the Big Bang, which supposedly created our universe, and we theorize that this happened 13.8 billion years ago, when everything in existence is thought to have occupied a single infinitely dense point, or singularity. At the moment of the Big Bang the density of the universe was so high that no information could escape from it. Under these conditions all the laws of physics break down and therefore only a hypothesis of what happened is possible, as there is no physical evidence. Scientists can use Math to explain what happened immediately…
Knowledge is the driving force of my mind I need to know the logic behind all that I believe Even my faith has to satisfy my thirst for knowing What then is unknowable or unexplainable in my world?
Like the zen philosophers, I wouldn’t want to know What serves no purpose in this world or the hereafter What I cannot comprehend because it is too big an idea To fit into the confines of my tiny brain, remains unexplained
Is this a paradox, a contradiction that I proclaim? I call it a practical and pragmatic approach to learning I know what I need or want to know and strive for it But what is hidden from my eyes and mind, remains An enigma, tantalizing and exciting, always in the distance

By Tim Boiteau He dreamed of erosion—everything smoothed out beneath roaring, gritty winds. The dreams plagued him during the daytime. Pictured his office and coworkers obscured in a dun-colored haze, sanded down in sped-up motion. Walls and clothing unraveling. Desks, computers frail and crumpling. His therapist arranged to meet for a session in the dunes: […]Dream … Continue reading Dream Erosion —
It is a common conception that a man can love many women, And a woman like me, should only love one man… But is it my fault that they all love me, And that I love them…
One, whose embrace thrusts me into realms of unbridled ecstasy Whose slightest touch ripples through my body – butterflies that send my heart racing And tingles of desire that arouse my deepest primal lust
A second, whose words lubricate my mind Such that it churns with ideas and imagination Such that each thought is an epiphany And each rumination improves me. For my world can never be dull with him.
And then there’s a third We hardly speak, but for lone sequestered words Words weighted with such consummacy that I become addicted. We barely touch, but for a graze…
