The Color of Your Dreams …. by Jim Adams

Fingers of all colors massage both sides of the bridge on your nose while rainbow colors blend all over your face. I have not met you yet, but I feel like I can understand your emotions just by looking into your eyes. There are many benefits to keeping your eyes clean, as when they get dirty, they can be very unsightly, affecting your vision and how you appear to others. It is not a problem for me, but I thought I should mention that you have Heterochromia, where your right iris is blue and your left iris is green. I imagine that nobody will ever be singing that Van Morrison song ‘Brown Eyed Girl’ to you. I spy in your eye a man scratching his head while looking out a window, which is really crazy, but maybe I am just looking through your eyes. I have read that humans appear to intuitively form…

Strong Women …. by Carol Anne
8th March
International women’s day
I celebrate
Myself
And all of the strong females around me
We are warriors
We are survivors
Full of determination
Our strength shines brightly
In everything we do
Being strong
Is what us women do best
I celebrate on this day
Alongside all women
All over the world.
Reena’s Xploration Challenge #270 – Reena Saxena (wordpress.com)

Success is no accident. It is hard work, perseverance, learning, studying, sacrifice and most of all, love of what you are doing or learning to do.” —Pele, Brazilian soccer player.
most of us agree that talent matters. i do. but many experts believe the idea that hard work outweighs talent every time. hard work must be the common factor for anyone seeking success, regardless of talent. no amount of talent can supersede hard work. if you have a natural ability, don’t expect it to automatically generate success. it won’t.

A touch of magic ….by Destiny
Written for : Reena’s Xploration Challenge #270
She is a caring daughter
A name she carries respectfully
a touch of pride
She is a doting sister
A friend now and until infinity
A touch of affection
She is a loving wife
A partner through life’s intricacies
A touch of love
She is a protective mother
a guardian for all eternity
A touch of tenderness
But through all hercolorful roles
We forget she is first a woman
A touch of magic.

Creative Colours ….by Diana Coombes

Written in response to https://reinventionsreena.wordpress.com/2023/03/02/reenas-xploration-challenge
Another way, having to live in a world where the colour bleached slowly in front of my eyes. One day, having beauty in glorious hues, the next. Every day different. Patches of grey, like little flies I couldn’t get rid of. The next, larger, my peripheral vision without substance.
It was like newspaper being turned into paper Mache. Pulled into a ball so tight, I couldn’t unravel the sense of it. Now, in the middle of the woodlands, all that was left was the sounds of the woodland.
Another day, I knelt down, the dry leaves crumbling though my fingers.
I called his name. ‘Merlin!, here boy.’
Without hesitation my guide dog was by my side. He deserved his freedom, because he always gave me mine. I could continue being a reporter, able to go into dangerous situations, without fear of reprisal. Trust, in those…

“Thai cooking is no joke without the right ingredients”, the celebrity chef grumbled, “I found galangal, but kaffir lime leaves are substituted with lemon zest.” “Don’t you think ingredients need to be sourced from abroad, for the astronomical price that you charge for a meal?” the local chef was feeling left out. “Understand the opportunity … Continue reading Exotica
