Artificial Conversation Entity

Artificial conversation entity —- by Jim Adams

I told my robot Radion that I had to write a story and I asked for his help.  He possesses gender-specific features, so he identifies as a male and he doesn’t like to be called it.  Radion is very intelligent, and he is capable of speech, but his fingers are not suited for typing.  He asked me what my story was about, so I told him it was going to write about how a chatbot is able to make predictions that enable them to string words together in a meaningful way.  Radion thought that would make a very interesting topic and he said that he would do some research for me.  I told him that I was not interested in writing that seemed awkward, or repetitive, or inaccurate and that it had to seem like it came from a human.  I told Radion that I don’t expect the chatbot’s writing…

Picture prompt- #275

no one would have cared

if the world was made of gold

we crave anything

for a high price if it’s sold

———————————————————–

Golden nest and the golden egg
So very tempting for Mr.Rag
Let's elope with the all this gold
he proposed
No way, sir, she opposed
She said with sour laughter
Your plane is cheap and a disaster
Not everyone has a lust for gold
Contrary to what you might have been told
I'm blissful with whatever I have
Futile is your attempt
to tempt me with gold
Buzz off and dare not chase me hereafter

Break Free

You can’t resist handing over the wheel to others, while destinations wait. The words seem to dance on the glass door, as he hands over the car keys to the valet. “I don’t see parking spots as destinations”, he frames a reply in his mind as he enters through the automatic door and goes through … Continue reading Break Free

Cafe Complex

The café of complexities never ceases to fascinate me. Fingerprints on menu cards belong to raised brows as well as beaming smiles. The feet that veer away from shared paths never turn back. The staff observes expressions more than counting the cash left behind in tips. They know it’s all linked – like the deals … Continue reading Cafe Complex

Rainbow (An Ameri-Ku)

charming pretty colored lines, appearing above the skyline to where my tired eyes finds rest on a day’s mentally challenging grind; a perfect treat to an afternoon delight.

to what do i owe this honor of your presence, when all that i wanted was to snap a shot of the verdant hills not too far away hovering the city landcape like a helicopter suspended in the air?

charming pretty colored lines, we called you rainbow by name; fascinating and enchanting nature’s greatest gift to anyone who does not believe that magic is everywhere, in fact it would be great if we’d truly find the pot of gold you’ve been hiding for so long.

Author’s Note

The Ameri-Ku, which Joni Caggiano started writing is the American version of Euro- Ko by Francisco Bravo Cabrera. According to Francisco, the rules are quite simple: A poem with three verses accompanied…

P.C :- RxC 275

A golden egg everyone wanted to take,
Not knowing it would burst and break,
it would squeak and quake,
if hard work was fake,
nothing is free without any ache!

Poetry form :- Limerick ( AABBA rhyme scheme)

Acknowledgements :- Written in response to RxC 275, where the above photo is the prompt. Also written in response to Na Po Wri Mo , where the prompt is, “write a poem that takes as its starting point something overheard that made you laugh, or something someone told you once that struck you as funny.” This isn’t something I overhead, but nevertheless. Thank you all for stopping by and reading.
