Reena’s Xploration Challenge 5/18/23~ New Horizon Arising

New Horison arising …. by Susan St.Pierre

It was an inspired new logo. The “green agenda” that had been perpetrated on the country with false claims and for nefarious reasons was finally getting resistance. Sales of t-shirts with the clever logo showing a visualized shattering of the environmentally unfriendly power grabbing Green Agenda’s hold on public opinion were through the roof!
There just may be a hopeful direction for the country on the horizon as the voting public obviously wants their dismay and disillusionment to be known… and shown.

Exploding under pressure

Exploding under pressure …. Sadje is first in this week

Sadje/ Sadie's avatarKeep it alive

Composure shattering

Exploding under pressure

-— . —

How much stress can I bear?

For how long can my brain withstand

All the demands the society makes on it

— . —

Ultimately there will a huge outburst

The dam will break and all the water will flow out

The balloon will rupture, spilling out the gas

— . —

Beware, for this not a threat but a warning

It’s not just a possibility but an eventuality

That today’s lifestyle is pushing us all towards!

Was That Really Me

Was that really me?

At my heart’s core
beneath sparks of confusion
while wielding a sword of arrogance
too ignorant to know to not take love for granted
while keeping faith I’d find what as you may guess
I’d need only open my eyes to see.
