hidden—
beneath a leaf’s hush
a shy bud averts my gaze
slow breath,
a tremor of green veins
initiating life
no eyes watching,
yet, petals loosen
the moment slips—
captured in glass light
a single flower,
born unseen,
held in my phone’s
small screen
hidden—
beneath a leaf’s hush
a shy bud averts my gaze
slow breath,
a tremor of green veins
initiating life
no eyes watching,
yet, petals loosen
the moment slips—
captured in glass light
a single flower,
born unseen,
held in my phone’s
small screen

To really see the flowers you need to look closely sometimes.

True. These unseen wonders die unglorified at times.

The ending was a surprise. And yes, even a photo of a flower can bring so much joy!

It is better to click a picture than pluck a flower.

Nature is a miracle. Or maybe we feel so, because we do not understand the machinations.
