Home

The home I yearn for is not on sale.

It hums with the scent of a library, a delicate blend of musty pages and the ink they contain. Sunlight pools in its corners like stories waiting to be told.

Its windows aren’t framed in currency—they hold the essence of intellectual and spiritual search. I’ve walked through affluent homes, listened to voices gloating with pride.

Yet, what I want remains elusive, off-market and unlisted, behind a door only time can unlock.

Someday, I’ll arrive—not to buy it, but to finally recognise it as mine, a part of my soul.

  1. “If your knowledge were your wealth, then it would be well-earned.” – Erykah Badu (On & On). I may be wrong, but that’s how I interpret this story, as being told by a seeker of knowledge.
