stretch fabric
create a backdrop
dummy trees
now await
characters to enact roles
scripts of destiny
when actors
disappear; all sets
dismantled
stories etched
on the ground will incubate
erupting earthquakes
stretch fabric
create a backdrop
dummy trees
now await
characters to enact roles
scripts of destiny
when actors
disappear; all sets
dismantled
stories etched
on the ground will incubate
erupting earthquakes
Somehow art will render reality less harsh, perhaps? Great lines to ponder, Reena. 🙂

What a unique idea to see the image as a stage. I love the idea of incubating earthquakes too, well done.

Thank you, Mason! Somehow the dunes look unreal to me, more like fluttering fabric.

I hadn’t seen them that way until I read your piece. I took a second look and yes there is a surreal look to the dunes as if painted by a hand and not by the moving sand, well done.
