Expunging Darkness

Words of wisdom fell off like ice cubes from a merciless face. He blamed her for her misery.

She picked up a brush and blackened certain parts. She then cut those out with a blade.

“What do you think you’re doing?” His voice got sharper.

“I’m expunging darkness from the cave. Get out of here, never to turn back.”

  1. The holes in the pages will allow healthy, fresh air in. Good riddance. I remember a former co-worker who was a malicious presence in our office said he could tell everything there was to know about a person by their “apple, tree, house” drawing.
