As a local writers’ group member, I have the pleasure of frequenting a unique coffee joint known as Pagdandi Café. ‘Pagdandi ‘translates to ‘pathway’ in Hindi, a fitting description for this charming establishment.
Pagdandi Café is a delightful blend of a bookshop and a coffee shop. Strategically placed at right angles to create an inviting open space in the lobby, the coffee shop’s walls and shelves are adorned with books, creating a cosy atmosphere. They graciously allow writers to work on their laptops for 2-3 hours while we enjoy their delicious sandwiches and coffee.
Our city could greatly benefit from a joint serving wine, beer, and books. Such a place would attract people to reading and provide a unique socialising and intellectual exchange space.

If only we have something like this hear. The coffeeshops aren’t as great to hand out as it can be very noisy and our public library is not as accessible to many
