What can the wind blow other than deep roots?
The maiden holds her swirling skirt in dread
Banyan trees grow roots to go underground
Check your homesteads to see what lies loose
Watch the clouds fly, and the sky blush deep red
Secrets are stories to make worlds go round
When the winds whistle, will they remain mute?
those who came from tsunamis, tales unveiled
depths of the ocean move without a sound
Windchimes sing songs from the holes in the flute
invoke gods; powers of Universe hailed
to protect Earth from maniacal clouds
let the sky go berserk; let winds go mad
let the fury of waves make depths feel glad

Quite the amount of profundity in this. Gorgeous piece 🩵✍🏾

Nicely done, Reena! I especially love the lines:
‘Watch the clouds fly, and the sky blush deep red’
and
‘Windchimes sing songs from the holes in the flute’.

Oh I love the idea of windchimes evoking the gods to protect us from maniacal clouds. I will think on that each time the storms beckon. A lovely flowing trillonet!!

…and the world shall turn many times to the stories about to be told. They are ancient tales, but we have forgotten them.
