The pre-Halloween Horror elicited brilliant entries in the last week. I was taken in by the shortest and longest one.

mask or masquerade

intended for me or you

questioning myself

Aishwarya at kittysverses

iā€™m a connoisseur of time,
the ifs and buts could wait for another day
idle moments that require understanding
resonates as much as the
fast paced shrunken moments of flight

these rugged visages of consciousness
glimmer in hope
as wind blows them away in divergent directions
snuggling close, they offer solitude
a lone warmth of sunshine

iā€™m a connoisseur of time,
i see different versions of myself daily
neither yesterdayā€™s myth nor tomorrowā€™s legend
those balmy summer afternoons
reveal truth nonchalantly

no words are revealed
thoughts take hold from another world
some other space and time
iā€™d dip them in a bottle of chocolates
before they melt away in obscurity.
