There’s truth in Van Gogh’s quote
What is “normal” in the first place?
We all have different criteria for
Normality, but even then perhaps
When we are in our comfort zone
Or people do what was expected of us
In this context of life, people and things
Normal always resonates a feeling of
Contentment and that’s a good thing, right?
On the other hand, life is short and we should
Live it as if it’s the last day of our lives
There is beauty in stepping outside of our
Comfort zone and experiencing things that
Aren’t in our nature. It encourages growth
And excitement within our lives. So much
More like individuality, uniqueness, fun,
Creativity, achievement, challenge and
Venturing out. Testing how far we can go
Testing our limits, it’s called living a life!

PROMPT #341

We have a word prompt for this week.

METANOIA

When you’re talking about a fundamental shift in how someone sees something, you’re talking about metanoia, a great unusual word for essays.

Example: “The conquering country required complete metanoia from those it ruled; they must believe in the ideals of the rulers, not just pay lip service.”

The format of the piece is not restricted, and there is no last date either unless you wish to be featured in the Weekly Wrap. 

We will not include any post that is found to be offensive, vulgar or hurts ordinary sensibilities. This needs to be a safe space.
