Limelight

It was one of those nights when shafts of light rekindle dreams.

It is not a process of reawakening but realignment. He could view the same story from a different perspective, as different installations of logic highlighted events.

Orrie found himself on the path to fame without doing anything that called for merit.

His association with celebrities and his father’s wealth catapulted him to fame, and he found himself on the top floor.

He wondered about all the people who lived on the floors below. Will they pull the ground from beneath his feet?

The show must continue.

  1. I absolutely loved that first line- it really drew me into these musings and the idea of the man who finds himself a star without any real effort on his part. So common in our world; and as you say, it’s an uneasy place to be.
