Belonging

Someone wrote about souls being born in clusters
Where they belong, and find each other during lifetimes
To reconnect; to love; to settle scores

I wonder where is my cluster
Or if there ever was one
I’m not sure if I was disconnected
Along with the umbilical chord

acceptance was a cherished dream
but then I gave it up. I developed strength
to walk alone and discover my deepest parts
Yes, I belong – only to myself.
