-putting it all together
all those Lego blocks
carrying abridged versions
of me
edited highlights released
as per the occasion,
propriety
within the scope
of social approval
the structure that I build now
shocks many
they had overlooked
the fire within
the daily evolution
of learning
self-acceptance
self-improvement
some pieces fell
outside the boundaries
of your mindsets
accusing fingers
jab at my self-esteem
blame me for being
self-centered
growing out of their reach
being unduly
invested in myself

Hi Reena, an intriguing poem. I have always found that it’s the most me focused people who point fingers at me for taking time for my hobbies. People who give all the time need healthy creative escapes to recharge.

I have noticed that those who point fingers at others and call them self-centred are the most selfish people by default.
