In a lavish lounge adorned with gilded mirrors and crystal chandeliers, two peahens perched on high stools engaged in an animated conversation. Elara, her silvery feathers shimmering under the soft glow, leaned in, her eyes wide with curiosity.
“Selene,” she whispered, “what do you think of this opulence? It’s unlike anything we’ve seen in our forest haven.”
Selene tilted her head, her iridescent plumage reflecting the hues of twilight skies.
“Elara,” she replied, her voice melodic, “our memories are woven with the rustling leaves, the moon’s silver kiss, and the freedom of open skies. Yet, amidst velvet drapes and golden trinkets, we find a different kind of beauty here.”
Elara ruffled her feathers. “But Selene, can nature and luxury coexist harmoniously? Can our wild hearts find solace in these gilded confines?”
Selene’s eyes sparkled. “Perhaps,” she mused, “we can teach them. Share our tales of moonlit dances, dew-kissed mornings, and the secrets whispered by ancient trees. Let our wings carry both elegance and wilderness.”
And so, Elara and Selene continued their conversation, bridging realms—the ethereal and the extravagant—while the lounge hummed with soft music and clinking glasses. In their words, they wove a tapestry of longing, hope, and the magic that exists where worlds collide.
And as the night deepened, the lounge seemed to hold its breath, listening to the wisdom of two peahens who dared to dream beyond their feathers.

This is so stunningly beautiful Reena! I loved it! ❤

Yeah …as we say ‘differently abled’. Not speaking the same language is a big barrier for us.

I love how you have highlighted that they’re not merely exhibits. ❤️ Selene and Elara should tell them!
